The concept for HV3G started when three guitar playing friends from the Hudson Valley went to see a guitar instrumental show in New York City and were blown away not only by the incredible musicianship of the artists, but also the level of excitement that was generated by the sold out crowd.  There was clearly something very special about this format of music.

Having grown tired of the local music scene , a majority of it being cover bands for the past few years, Joe, Dean and Mike always knew of the tremendous talent of musicians and original bands that reside right in the Hudson Valley. With this in mind they decided that it was time to bring an entirely new unique musical concept to the Hudson Valley. The three guitarists started recruiting other muscians throughout the Hudson Valley..... all  joined forces and HV3G was born.

Hudson Valley 3G is a show which consists of all original, all instrumental musical compositions written by Joe Gareri, Dean Piaquadio and Mike Darrigo.  The show appeals to a vast amount of different musical tastes in that each of these guitarists have very different writing and playing styles from one another.
